Since our Rotary Club’s creation in 1969, and the first Rotary Classic Charity Raffle in 1979, the Rotary Club of Schaumburg ~ Hoffman Estates has been funding humanitarian needs throughout our community and the world. The Rotary Club of Schaumburg ~ Hoffman Estates Foundation is a community-based licensed 501(c)(3) charity. Its fundraising efforts support non-profit organizations that provide quality care and services to families while improving the health and well-being of children and their families around the world. To this end, The Foundation supports innovative programs that address these targeted needs.
As well as helping causes large and small, over the years the Rotary Club of Schaumburg ~ Hoffman Estates has been a major donor for several core programs that help families and children in need. A few of these long term commitments include our $100,000 donation to the new Children's Home and Aid Center in Schaumburg, our $250,000 pledge as Civic Sponsors for Alexian Brother’s new Pediatrics Services in Hoffman Estates, and our promise to eradicate polio worldwide with our annual contributions to Polio Plus.
The Rotary Club of Schaumburg ~ Hoffman Estates provides support for other not-for-profit organizations that meet the objective of positively improving the lives of families in our community and around the world. To date, the Foundation’s charitable awards have exceeded a million dollars. The Rotary Club of Schaumburg ~ Hoffman Estates is committed to continuing its support of family and children-based charitable programs via annual grants in perpetuity.
